Whilst not stricly about Culham, the main GWR station buildings are based on those at Culham and the Old Ticket Office can be seen in several of the photos. GwendraethThis 7mm scale layout is described by its builder, Michael Culham, who lives in Canada. It is a BR Western Region branch line terminus based in the 1950s and, whilst it takes its name from the real Gwendraeth Valley in Carmarthenshire, the station is entirely fictitious. The two main station buildings are however easily recognisable as being those at Culham and were constructed from Timber Tracks kits.

On the broad gauge, early GWR architectureWhilst this article by Stanley C.Jenkins is not specifically about Culham, it is however illustrated with a photograph of the Ticket Office which he took in the early 1970s. This is one of several photographs which he kindly forwarded to us in 2018 with permission to use them on this web site. He also produced a full set of drawings of the Ticket Office in 2mm scale for the article, and these serve as a useful record of the building as it was at the time of his visit.
